The glory of God · Creation and sovereignty
This song unfolds the Bible’s great story through creation, human rebellion, redemption and future renewal, then arrives at an individual and congregational confession of God as Lord. Psalm 100 reminds us that he made us and we are his sheep; Isaiah 43 links belonging with redemption and being called by name. Such confession brings both comfort and a call to obedience. Since life belongs to the Creator and Redeemer, worship must go beyond words. When singing of the final hope, let Revelation’s new creation illuminate holiness, mercy and faithfulness today.
Confession of faith in Sunday worship, creation and redemption themes and baptism preparation; teaching on the Bible’s whole story.
