One of the most widely sung songs in Chinese churches over the past twenty years, it has featured at many baptisms and weddings. Its centre is the conviction that knowing the Lord Jesus is life's most beautiful blessing. Philippians 3:8 says the same: Paul counts former gains as loss “for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord”. John 15:16 adds the order: “You didn’t choose me, but I chose you”. This blessing therefore means being found, rather than having chosen the right path ourselves. The song suits baptisms, weddings and testimonies.
