The glory of God · Christ: glory made visible
Revelation joins the throne’s majesty and the Lamb’s redemption within one worship scene. This song invites the congregation to bow, acknowledging Jesus’ holiness, honour and eternal authority. His worthiness is inseparable from giving his life to ransom people of all nations. Looking to this ruler amid a changing world, we learn to release our own desire for glory. As the congregation sings honour together, it can remember recipients of grace from every people and place who share salvation’s hope. Earthly worship then echoes heaven’s praise of all nations, enabling continued life with security, reverence and gratitude.
