The glory of God · Holiness and majesty
The heavenly Father’s holiness and the Lamb’s glory guide worship and turn busy hearts towards the Lord. Seeing God enthroned, Isaiah recognises his holiness and personal uncleanness; Revelation’s heavenly worship is likewise full of reverence. Hebrews explains access to God through the way Jesus has already opened, giving confidence to approach the Lord humbly and freely. Slow the pace and leave room after Scripture for confession and thanks. Gathered solemnity can extend into daily honesty, making those praising the Lord’s holiness willing to accept his light over words and deeds.
Worship preparation, prayer meetings and responses on holiness; the official recording is a medley, so select according to the gathering’s actual arrangement.
