Confession and repentance · Surrender and dedication
Beginning with joy in nearness to Jesus, this work unfolds love’s response into lifelong worship, dedication and following. First John sets our love after the grace of God’s prior love, making gratitude the soil of commitment. When the risen Lord asks Peter whether he loves him, he also gives responsibility for the flock, tightly joining love and daily service. While singing a lifelong desire, consider people and opportunities available today and entrust weakness honestly. Long following needs repeated forgiveness and strength; his faithfulness supports the gradual expression of offered love within ordinary responsibilities.
Dedication services, coworkers’ retreats, commissioning for ministry and personal prayers of resolve.
