The glory of God · Faithfulness and covenant keeping
Trouble, endurance, proven character and hope become a path of faith waiting on the Lord. Romans 5 places this path within the grace of justification by faith and peace with God, explaining that the Holy Spirit enables us to receive his love. Believers need to know trusted promises through Scripture, receive them in Christ and learn to hold them amid hardship. Some are still weeping and others cannot presently see their road; the Lord’s faithfulness enables a community to support one another. At care gatherings, invite brothers and sisters to name what they await, then read passages about hope together. Prayer and continuing companionship can help them travel the rugged road.
