The glory of God · Loving kindness and mercy
Moving from human weakness and the Spirit’s help into thanksgiving, this song leaves comfort for those unable to pray. Romans 8 explains the Spirit’s help and intercession according to God’s will; Psalm 30 bears witness to the Lord’s continuing grace between weeping and rejoicing. Those waiting can pour out their hearts to the Lord and allow the community to pray for them. The psalm’s morning brings hope without becoming a deadline for every difficulty to end. Leaders can accompany the congregation in remembering received grace while continuing to watch in prayer for members facing illness, loss and long waits.
Prayer meetings, visiting the sick, thanksgiving testimonies and comfort amid difficulties.
