The pilgrim journey · Mission and the gospel
Frankly acknowledging imperfection and weakness, this work receives courage to go among people through Jesus’ self-giving and guidance. John 14 anchors the disciples’ way in Christ himself, and the Great Commission carries his promised presence into sending. Those willing to go still need learning, preparation and cooperation, relying on him to persevere when problems arise. Worship and prayer extend into life’s witness so neighbours hear the gospel and experience care. Pray for a particular person or place, then choose an achievable step, growing courage through humility, patience and actual service.
Mission Sundays, commissioning for short-term mission, youth discipleship and community gospel service.
