Our misery in sin · Lost and sought
A wandering bird pictures the search through life in this song, whose final direction is a willingness to return to Jesus’ side. Luke 15 shows the shepherd’s actively seeking love behind a person’s return; Matthew 11 invites the weary to rest before the Lord. In gospel sharing, gently acknowledge the reality of loneliness, confusion and the need to be heard, leaving listeners opportunities to tell their own experiences. Then introduce how Jesus receives sinners through salvation, helping people move from feeling understood towards knowing and trusting the Lord in relationship.
Gospel gatherings, sharing with those exploring faith, prayers of return and pastoral visits.
