Confession and repentance · Renewal and sanctification
This song brings prayer for revival deep into personal life: may the Lord cleanse the heart and open our whole lives to him. Psalm 51 is a repentant person’s prayer for cleansing; Romans 12 describes the response to mercy as renewal of body and mind. Holiness touches speech, money, relationships and hidden choices, and requires the Spirit’s continual help. After singing, invite quiet examination of one matter needing correction, followed by mutual intercession. Where actual harm has occurred, learn to admit wrongdoing, make restitution and seek help, rooting dedication in real life.
Prayers of confession, retreats, spiritual renewal for coworkers and renewed commitment.
