Our misery in sin · Crying out and waiting
Desert and wilderness picture blocked roads and scarce resources, yet the work directs trust towards the sovereign God. Isaiah 43 proclaims new deliverance to his people, with the Lord’s provision along the returning road; Second Corinthians witnesses apostles pressed yet upheld by grace. Such hope allows grief in loss and continuing to pour out our hearts to the Lord and seek his guidance. A new road may differ from earlier expectations; faithfulness while waiting remains precious. Sing trust while caring for actual needs, remembering together, before a way out appears, that the Lord has not forsaken his children.
Prayer amid loss and waiting, fellowship in difficulty, entrusting and starting again.
