The pilgrim journey · Companionship and guidance
Sailing and steering clearly picture the relationship between life’s direction and trust in God. Proverbs 3 encourages acknowledging the Lord in every path, and Psalm 32 promises his instruction and care. Entrusting direction to him still involves careful decisions, accepting responsibility and willingness to listen to reminders from Scripture and the community. Young people choosing education, careers or relationships can especially use this song to bring order to their fears and hopes. After prayer, write down one practical act of obedience, continuing to discern the Lord’s guidance in the next step of learning and work.
