The pilgrim journey · Unity and love
Centred on First John 4, the call to mutual love rests on God’s prior love. Christ’s self-giving for sinners shows the church the measure of love and brings the grace of reconciliation with God into our relationships with one another. Others can see the gospel’s fruit through actual acceptance and care. In a tense community, song may begin confession and relearning treatment of one another. Pray for a brother or sister difficult to relate to, ask the Lord for hearts willing to communicate honestly and forgive, and act concretely for those needing help.
Fellowship unity, response after Communion, repairing small-group relationships and teaching church life.
