Redeeming grace · Freely given grace
The Lord’s love, inner joy and eternal life form one picture of salvation here. Romans 8 declares that love in Christ reaches through trouble: even death cannot separate believers from it. The Spirit pours God’s love into hearts, giving a taste of future hope within our finite days. The song’s rejoicing can become shared congregational thanksgiving while supporting those still grieving. As a church sings of renewed life and accompanies members with present tears, the love it proclaims takes a tangible form, awaiting together the day when the Lord fully removes sorrow.
Thanksgiving for salvation, resurrection hope, gospel gatherings and united fellowship worship.
