Our misery in sin · Crying out and waiting
Facing possible loss of crops and livestock, Habakkuk still finds gladness in the Lord who saves him. This work expresses faith through that circumstance, bringing praise into days of waiting and deprivation. Nehemiah’s joy follows the people’s renewed hearing of the holy Word and includes sharing food with those unprepared. Truth and communal care uphold this strength, enabling sufferers to look to the Lord together. Carry sadness honestly in song while remembering his salvation remains reliable, and begin with daily prayer, thanksgiving and mutual support to keep learning endurance.
Worship in affliction, prayer while awaiting results, thanksgiving and gatherings for mutual help.
