The glory of God · Loving kindness and mercy
Light images of grass and birds express the joy of being surrounded by love through knowing the heavenly Father. John 17 connects eternal life with knowing the Father and Christ, grounding this gladness beyond immediate circumstances. God receives us as children, allowing us near to bring concerns and needs before him. The song’s warmth and simplicity invite all ages to respond and help new believers express gratitude naturally. Those feeling low can also remember the relationship through familiar prayers. Fellowship with the Lord deepens with the years, gradually bringing the security of being loved into daily life.
Fellowship for new believers, children’s and family worship, thanksgiving meetings and gospel sharing.
