The glory of God · Christ: glory made visible
Using Revelation’s titles of the ever-living King and the bright morning star, this song directs the gathered congregation towards Jesus’ glory. The hope of light, freedom and healing comes from this Lord who has overcome death, making worshippers willing to turn their focus towards him. Malachi’s image of the sun of righteousness leads us to remember both the Lord’s holiness and his salvation. After joyful acclamation, the church continues caring for those still in darkness and illness, bearing witness to the Lord’s mercy through prayer and companionship. Such worship has room for joy and tears, allowing believers in different circumstances to look together to the Lamb and hope for him to reveal fully the beauty of salvation.
Worship of adoration, resurrection hope, united gatherings and intercession for those in need of care.
