The glory of God · Christ: glory made visible
The titles Lamb and almighty King meet in the song, revealing Jesus’ victory through self-giving redemption. Revelation pictures everything bowing in shared praise; the church’s song today opens towards this hope. Glory belongs to the holy, eternal, saving Lord, so the congregation can relinquish boasting in its own ability and attend to honouring him. Repeated acclamations invite everyone’s response and can accompany Scripture reading to give worship clear content. Looking to the Lamb, we enter life with his humble pattern and learn to glorify him through service.
