Confession and repentance · Renewal and sanctification
Inviting God’s children to welcome renewal in Christ, the work asks the Spirit to guide vision and direction. Second Corinthians 5 follows new creation immediately with reconciliation to God and the responsibility of urging others to be reconciled, giving renewal explicit gospel content. Isaiah’s promise of new things encourages God’s people to notice the Lord’s salvation amid hardship. Seeking the future, a church can examine plans by Scripture, hear members’ and neighbours’ real needs, and humbly discern possible roads. Sung anticipation thus begins shared prayer that leads towards concrete, faithful actions with shared responsibility.
Annual church vision, coworkers’ planning, mission prayer and dedication at a new stage.
