The pilgrim journey · Companionship and guidance
The race of Hebrews 12 runs through this song. Earlier witnesses of faith encourage the runners to lay aside hindrances and fix their eyes on Jesus. The passage explains that the Lord endured the cross and sinners’ hostility, so weary believers can receive strength from him to continue. A singing community can acknowledge struggles along the road and pray over one another’s burdens that need releasing. Invite brothers and sisters to choose an appropriate adjustment and find a trusted companion for regular care, exercising endurance and hope within actual discipleship.
