The glory of God · Holiness and majesty
This work brings the earthly congregation into Revelation’s scene of worship: people from every nation, tribe and people join the angels in giving glory to God. Salvation comes from the Lord seated on the throne and from the Lamb, so praise begins with gratefully receiving it and places hope in the salvation he will finally bring to completion. Today’s churches differ in language, numbers and background, yet can worship with one voice in Christ. Repeated praise allows the congregation to grow familiar with the words and leaves space for quiet attention. At united gatherings, leaders can read the passage about the gathering of all peoples in Revelation 7, remembering those who do not yet know Jesus and treasuring fellow believers beside us who already share the same grace.
United worship, mission prayer and gatherings on Revelation; intercession may be offered for different ethnic groups and unreached peoples.
