Confession and repentance · Following and obedience
Taking up Jesus’ teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven, asking and the word of God, this song helps us bring daily worries back into the right order of life. While discussing our need for food and clothing, Matthew 6 invites disciples to trust the heavenly Father’s care and seek his Kingdom and righteousness first. This gives work and life a deeper direction and teaches us to pray honestly for today’s needs. As we sing, we can examine what is pulling us and ask the Lord to help us use our time, money and abilities according to his will. We learn dependence in prayer and righteousness in practice, allowing the heavenly Father in whom we believe to guide our daily choices.
Discipleship, prayer meetings and responses on priorities in life and trust in the heavenly Father.
