The pilgrim journey · Service and gifts
Confessing the called person’s new identity in Christ, this dedication song asks the Lord to use us to carry his love into the world. First Peter’s priests, holy nation and people belonging to him point towards the church’s shared mission: proclaiming the works of the one who saves from darkness. A vessel’s value lies in answering his use, so singers ask both power and love to fill service. Invite thought of a real need and choose visiting, care, gospel sharing or faithful work. God renews lives so ordinary members bless through cooperation, returning glory to the giver of grace.
Commissioning coworkers, mission, and teaching gifts and the church’s calling.
