The glory of God · Christ: glory made visible
Praise like many waters and bowing angels direct the congregation towards the Lamb’s throne. The two titles Lamb and King confess Jesus: he gave his life for us and now deserves all glory and power. Revelation 5 joins victory to the slain Lamb; chapter 17 identifies his victory over hostile powers. Worship reaffirms believers’ allegiance amid an unsettled world and teaches life patterned on the Saviour’s self-giving. Read Revelation alongside the song, offering reverence, hope and endurance together and praying for sufferers still holding to faith.
Sunday praise, Christ’s kingship and Revelation themes, and Easter worship.
