Confession and repentance · Renewal and sanctification
Longing to draw near to the Lord runs through this short song, whose petition joins filling to cleansing and renewal, carrying worship deep into life. Water’s refreshing image recalls opening ourselves to the life-giving Lord and lets thirsty hearts ask honestly for help. Ephesians links filling with the Spirit to praise, thanksgiving and mutual submission, showing prayer’s effects in community. Leave quiet confession after singing, then ask grace for a habit needing change. Offering the whole person includes receiving his reminders through Scripture and fellow members and answering renewal in daily choices.
