基恩敬拜 · Album: 不要怕. Explore “My Eyes Have Seen You”: song information and official sources.
Confession and repentance · Renewal and sanctification
Job’s declaration that his eyes have seen God comes after God questions him from the whirlwind. It does not mean that he has finally received explanations for every suffering. The encounter makes him acknowledge a creature’s limits and humble himself in the dust. Singing this song today need not involve seeking visible visions or treating intense feelings as proof of faith. The God revealed in Scripture makes Christ known through the Holy Spirit and renews his people in affliction. Reverence and joy can coexist; a cry from the depths can remain honest until a person again entrusts themselves to the trustworthy Lord.
Renewal in prayer, worship amid affliction and retreats; teaching on Job 42.
