小羊诗歌 · Album: 一粒麦子. Explore “There Is A River”: song information and official sources.
Hope for the end of the age · New heavens and new earth
A river runs through the song’s imagery, joining the joy, healing and life brought by God’s presence. In the Psalms, his city is secure through his presence; Ezekiel’s river revives desolate land; Revelation places the river of life beside God’s and the Lamb’s throne. Jesus’ living water explains the giving of the Spirit, connecting these hopes to believers’ lives today. We ask help for the sick and crushed while awaiting the Lord’s complete renewal of everything. Singing can awaken care and intercession, assuring sufferers that the community remembers them and that hope remains before full restoration is seen.
Worship on the Spirit and life, intercession for healing, resurrection hope and care gatherings.
