小羊诗歌 · Album: 永远. Explore “You Are More Beautiful Than These”: song information and official sources.
Hope for the end of the age · New heavens and new earth
The beauty of a new heaven and earth awakens longing, but the song focuses further on the Lamb who died for us. Revelation’s worship centres on the Redeemer: tears wiped away and all peoples drawing near to God become possible through Christ’s victory. The risen Lord’s visible wounds also recall the real, costly love behind the glory. Hope for our heavenly home therefore longs to meet the Saviour beyond an expectation of comfortable surroundings. In grief and parting, look together to the Lord who knows pain and has conquered death, awaiting his renewal of all things.
