The glory of God · Faithfulness and covenant keeping
The Lamb and bride answer one another as the work describes Christ’s initiative in covenant and the church’s loving response. The new covenant rests on Jesus’ blood shed for sinners. Its grace includes forgiveness, cleansing and inner renewal; promises in Jeremiah and Ezekiel give this love clear saving content. Drawn by love, the church learns exclusive faithfulness and offers life to the Lord’s shaping. Understand the bride’s image within Christ’s relationship to the whole church, so a personal response also includes treasuring other members. Singing at Communion can help a congregation remember the price he paid and value afresh the community that belongs together by grace.
Communion reflection, sermons on new covenant promises, baptism and response committing to the church.
