Such knowledge includes receiving his righteousness by faith, fellowship with him, learning faithfulness through suffering and hoping for resurrection life. Consider what currently determines your security and worth, and willingly let Christ hold first place again. Relinquishing boasting still allows serious living, but we advance as recipients of grace. May this song become a prayer of continued following: that amid daily gains, losses and choices we may know more deeply the Lord who first took hold of us.
