The glory of God · Christ: glory made visible
With communal acclamation, this song confesses that the risen Jesus is Lord and looks towards the day when all things bow before him. Philippians 2 joins Christ’s exaltation to humble obedience and self-giving on the cross, giving royal glory the depth of redeeming love. Spoken confession also invites our whole lives beneath his guidance. At baptism or Easter, join celebration to new direction: learning humility in relationships, remaining faithful under temptation and relying on the risen Lord in weakness. May shared praise help the church remember that Christ is the centre of our hope and belonging.
Easter celebration, baptismal confession of faith and worship on Christ’s kingship.
