Confession and repentance · Following and obedience
This song joins remembering the Lord’s Word, drawing near to him and following him, showing Bible reading entering life. Psalm 119 explains that storing Scripture helps us avoid sin and find guidance on particular paths. The Word’s reliability in Matthew 24 gives believers a firm ground in a changing world. Singing can pray before or after reading: asking the Lord for understanding and willingness to practise what we read. Each small-group member can also choose a passage to reflect on repeatedly during the week, noticing how it changes speech, treatment of people and decisions.
Prayer before Bible reading, worship on Scripture, memorisation gatherings and discipleship.
