The pilgrim journey · Unity and love
Turning love for brothers and sisters into prayer, this blessing asks the Lord to care for them at home and away, today and on the road ahead. Psalm 121’s promised protection gives blessing a trustworthy object; Second Timothy recalls God’s gift of a spirit of power, love and self-control. While singing to one another, consider a responsibility or difficulty the other person will soon face and intercede seriously. Trust in the Lord’s protection gives courage for life and encourages the church to continue caring for those blessed. Greetings, visits and practical help after a gathering continue the song’s love.
Closing gatherings, pastoral visits, birthday thanksgiving, farewells and commissioning blessings.
