Redeeming grace · The incarnation
Angelic praise travels from heaven to wilderness and leads hearers to Bethlehem. The hymn invites the congregation into one response: glorifying God for the Saviour’s birth. Luke’s shepherds hear the announcement, go to search and finally tell what they have seen and heard; worship joins listening, action and witness. Amid repeated Christmas praise, remember that the good news first reached ordinary people watching sheep at night. The church likewise carries joy to people easily overlooked, extending festive worship into visits, invitations and sincere gospel sharing.
Christmas worship, carol singing, combined choirs and parent-and-child Christmas gatherings.
