The glory of God · Holiness and majesty
Psalm 150 gathers breath, instruments and all the people to respond to God’s mighty acts in his sanctuary and the heavens. Revelation 5 centres praise on the one seated on the throne and the Lamb who was slain yet conquered. A simple, repeated praise song helps people of different ages sing together. Its value lies not in generating excitement but in giving honour to the Lord who is worthy of it. Begin with a call to worship or a Scripture reading explaining whom we praise and why, so joyful voices continue to carry the content of creation, redemption and Christ’s reign.
Opening worship, festivals and worship for all ages; teaching on Psalm 150 or the worthiness of the Lamb.
